Wallabies on Campus!

The name wallaby comes from the Eora Aboriginal tribe who were the original inhabitants of the Sydney area. Young wallabies are known as "joeys", like many other marsupials. Aren't these guys adorable?

  1. Have you been to the Billabong Sanctuary yet? You MUST go and hold a Koala and feed the Marsupials.

  2. So Joeys just hop around and don't mind people? Very cool.

  3. T'ville has a lot of the 'Agile Wallabies', Macropus agilis, right!? I couldn't get over how MANY different kinds of kangas and wallabies they have down there. Too cool!

  4. We are going to Billabong tomorrow and we can't wait to hold all the animals.

We will call Paul and Pip this week.

Alex the joeys are the cutest! Miss you!

There are so many kinds of kangas it is hard to keep track of them all.
